Kybella is a nonsurgical option to reduce fat cells underneath the chin. The treatment uses a series of synthetic deoxycholic acid injections to destroy those fat cells. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorbtion of dietary fat. 

 

We use a topical numbing agent and ice to help ease the injection process.

 

Expect to be in the treatment chair for around 20-30 minutes. Additional treatments may be needed to reach your aesthetic goals. We recommend scheduling a follow-up visit after your appointment at the 8-week mark to compare results and see if any additional vials would be recommended.
