Get Rid Of That Double Chin!
Kybella is a nonsurgical option to reduce fat cells underneath the chin. The treatment uses a series of synthetic deoxycholic acid injections to destroy those fat cells. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorbtion of dietary fat. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
We use a topical numbing agent and ice to help ease the injection process.
Expect to be in the treatment chair for around 20-30 minutes. Additional treatments may be needed to reach your aesthetic goals. We recommend scheduling a follow-up visit after your appointment at the 8-week mark to compare results and see if any additional vials would be recommended.
